Join resident artist Sue Mulholland for a series of inspiring Art Journeys, each exploring the life, techniques and creative vision of one of history's most celebrated artists.
From the vibrant colours of Van Gogh and the dreamlike forms of Miró to the bold abstraction of Kandinsky and the revolutionary style of Picasso, every journey offers a unique opportunity to discover a new artist and create your own artwork inspired by their approach.
Each session includes a fascinating introduction to the featured artist, guided creative exercises, expert encouragement from Sue, all materials, refreshments, and your own artwork to take home.
No experience is needed. Whether you're a complete beginner or a practising artist, Art Journeys are designed to be relaxed, enjoyable and creatively rewarding.
Many participants choose to book multiple journeys, gradually building their own collection of artworks while exploring different artistic styles and movements.

Art Journeys – Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans sometimes change. As places on our Art Journeys are limited, our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to everyone.
If you need to cancel
7 days or more before your Art Journey
If you let us know at least 7 days before your Art Journey, you can choose to:
- receive a full refund;
- transfer your booking to another Art Journey, subject to availability; or
- transfer your place to a friend or family member.
Less than 7 days before your Art Journey
If you cancel less than 7 days before your Art Journey, we are unable to offer a refund. However, you can:
- transfer your place to a friend or family member; or
- make one transfer to another Art Journey, subject to availability.
On the day
Unfortunately, we cannot normally offer a refund or transfer if you do not attend your Art Journey or cancel on the day.
We understand that genuinely exceptional circumstances can arise, and these will always be considered sympathetically.
If we need to cancel
If we have to cancel an Art Journey for any reason, you can choose either:
- a full refund; or
- to transfer your booking to another Art Journey, subject to availability.
We will always let you know as soon as possible if there is a change to your booking.
Thank you for understanding
Our Art Journeys have a limited number of places. Late cancellations can mean that a place cannot be offered to somebody else, so we really appreciate your understanding.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
